Delete Your Wullup Account
App: Wullup · Provider: Wullup GmbH, Im Vogelsang 14, 35452 Heuchelheim, Germany
You can delete your Wullup account and the data belonging to it at any time, free of charge.
How to request deletion
In the app (fastest)
- Open Wullup and go to your profile
- Open Settings
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account, then confirm
Without the app
Email [email protected] from the address linked to your account with the subject "Delete my account". We act on such requests without undue delay and in any case within the statutory period. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours.
What happens next
- Your account is deactivated immediately. Your profile and content become invisible to all other users and all sessions are signed out
- A 30-day grace period begins. If you sign back in during this period and confirm, your account is fully restored
- After 30 days everything is erased permanently and automatically. From then on deletion cannot be undone
What is deleted
Your profile, posts, messages, media, stamps, crew memberships, events you host together with their RSVPs, follows, bookmarks, streaming connections, push tokens and consent records.
What may be kept, and for how long
- Encrypted database backups: Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups until the routine backup rotation completes; after that it is removed there as well
- Legal compliance data: Where the law requires it (for example 6–10 years for tax records), kept in isolated storage and used for nothing else
- Moderation records: Records involving your account may be kept in anonymized form for community safety; ban records stay in place while a ban is active
- Analytics: Anonymous statistics were never linked to your account. If you allowed usage analytics, its pseudonymous ID can no longer be derived once your account is deleted; raw events are deleted after 14 months
Deleting data without deleting your account
